SINGAPORE: Nearly half of the toys tested by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) were found to contain harmful chemicals.
Some of the toys which were tested looked relatively harmless. But some are said to contain 5,000 times more phthalates - a chemical used to soften plastics - than acceptable levels based on international standards.
And this could lead to cancer.
