Wed
Hubby made dinner and liked it when Marmy suggested to use own creativity instead of list of what to do. TK reached home around 740p and fell asleep on the bus without taking any bread. TK must have slept little during the day nap at Childcare. Lots of food in fridge for snack/supper: muffins, kueh, Agar Agar, fruits..
Thur
Hubby forgot to bring earpiece and watch to work. Wanted to have vegetarian Western food for supper again. Made some longbeans again for dinner which was bought at offer price. Grandma called and chatted with TK. Grandma going for physiotherapy appointment tomorrow. Helpful? TK took supper before going to bed.
Fri
Hubby came after us to send us to the bus-stop after we left home in the morning. Next gynae appointment is next Fri. Met Kiddy Palace Manager on bus with another colleague. Office is near TK Childcare. TK cried for Marmy to carry at Childcare. Went in with Teacher L (long hair) and saw Teacher L (short hair) and still said 'wo yao ma ma' 我要妈妈. Went to buy lunch and some muffins at nearby factory canteen to treat the Coffee shop Zi Char Aunt F who's ending business end of the month. She had been very kind to TK, giving TK old storybooks, toys, rice cakes, 9-layered kueh etc. The factory nearby which was on fire on Monday still not in operation yet and TK still talked about it whenever we passed by on the bus. TK wet the bed again in Childcare. There were some slippers which come in a few colours beside the baggage shelf, but majority seem to be of the same size. Even those in PG class less than 36m old wearing smaller ones are a size too big. TK wanted to go to the washroom and Mummy heard TK telling Teacher C when she stepped into Childcare. TK wore the slippers and walked carefully. Later TK told Marmy when we left at dismisssal that Teacher pressed his head down 3 times. Marmy asked why and when did Teacher do that and TK replied Teacher told him to walk faster. TK explained further 'zou man dian bu ran xie zi hui diao ma' 慢慢走 不然 鞋子会掉吗 (Walk slowly or else the big size slippers will come off). Marmy agrees absolutely. Fetched TK to Granddad's for dinner. TK cried when Marmy warned not to pour the water in bathtub out as it's wasteful, and screamed when it's time to stop playing with bath water. Grannies pacified TK. Packed some food for Hubby as supper. TK tired and rubbed eyes when reaching home on MRT but still wanted to bathe Papa at 10plus. Such a mature and filial child.
Sat
Took TK to the NLB Storytelling in the morning and saw a Carnival for the elderly nearby. TK wanted to watch the concert performance which included Wushu 武术, Belly Dancing 肚皮舞 and singing. Met neighbours whose children are performing Wushu. TK later commented the dancers wore a 'nai zhao' 奶罩 showing the belly, 'bu hao kan' 不好看 and a Uncle calling them 'Auntie'. Had to explain that that's not underwear, and Belly Dancing uses the belly to dance so it needs a lot of courage to perform on stage. When asked if Grandma will look good wearing the outfit, TK still said 'bu hao kan'. Redeemed a goodie bag for the Silver Generation with a loan receipt of 8 items. Went to family gathering after SGD8.60 dinner and reached home 10plus. Hubby stepped in again to explain to us the consequences of losing our cool when TK refused to brush teeth. TK helped to bathe Hubby, scrubbed the toilet floor and had supper. Excellent helper.
Sun
TK attended the final lesson of Di Zi Gui at KMSPKS last week. Hubby worked out our household cash flow summary and found out that we can survive and continue to spend & save as usual without working for only 3 months. That is, till the end of February 2014. We need to do some financial planning. It only seems logical not to buy Endowment plan yet for the subsequent child, except for hospital plan.
Mon
Teacher S called to say Childcare will be disinfected and preferably fetch children by 5p near the front desk entrance. More children fell sick having stomach flu. Hubby cautioned to feed TK with probiotics later for prevention. Drizzled as we waited long at the bus-stop. Fed TK the probiotics with berry juice, but Marym encouraged TK to finish the drink. Met the weird lady on bus again after fetching TK from Childcare. Bus finally arrived around 645p after a long wait. Tapped/poked my right shoulder thrice from behind (we're seated back-to-back), and asked us to keep quiet. After I told TK not to speak, I turned back to tell her there's no need to tap so many times on my shoulder (especially since I'm pregnant and it's so unlucky). She then asked me to return to China, and mentioned sh*t repeatedly. Yes, I'm a Chinese, but even if I've relocated from China doesn't mean I've to be treated this way. What a bully! If she feels I speak very fluent Mandarin, that's because she didn't have much exposure/practice to learning/speaking in Mandarin. As we walked past her while alighting, TK turned and looked at her, again we could hear her saying softly sh*t repeatedly. We must have done something really bad or nasty to her in the past lives and karma ripens in this life. Hopefully we won't meet again. Grandpa came to visit at 910p with pancake for TK.
Tue
Warm night and TK cried a few times in the night, perspiring alot. Showered and wash hair to feel better. Didn't have much appetite this morning. Maybe having indigestion. Had 2 pieces of fish-like pancakes, and 1 slice of bread for breakfast. Took a packet of Bee Hoon at 11a while it's warm. Kept burbing till 2plus every 5 minutes at 1plus after that. TK wanted to be carried outside Childcare in the morning, and Marmy explained that TK was fortunate unlike those taking school bus who had to carry own bags. We met the Teachers bringing the children out to play bubbles. Teacher L carried TK who's crying,'wo yao Mama' 我要妈妈. Teacher replied everyone wants Mummy 'mei ge ren dou yao Mama' 每个人都要妈妈. Once outside, TK was seen playing happily with classmates minutes later. Hubby fetched TK at 5plus. Feeling much better and made po chai mee for dinner. Went for groceries shopping with TK and Grandma, with TK pushing our marketing trolley happily. Bought Tofu, coffee powder, Red vegetables, cheese..Grandma bought a small chocolate cupcake-like for TK. It was very hard, expensive and not too yummy.
