22nd week of Pregnancy #2

Rained in the morning. Waited for bus opposite the Childcare at 715p. Zi Char Aunt from coffee shop below Childcare asked TK if it's Didi or Meimei, TK was quiet. Most people guessed it's Didi.

Thur
NEA officers came to check again, this time for dengue breeding spots. Informed them of the litter (a few styrofoam boxes bundled with rubber band) on the air-con ledge by our neighbours above. Went to buy groceries and household products at Paya Lebar MRT before fetching TK.

Fri
The Ikea red cupboard bought last year SGD169 is now selling at SGD139, SGD30 less. Hubby had vegetarian meal at Nature Vegetarian along Jalan Bukit Merah. Tr D said TK didn't read after her. TK sang 'Shi Shang Zhi You Ma Ma Hao' 《世上只有妈妈好》 on the bus, and asked to be touched and TK sounded 'Fireman'. Hubby reached home for late supper again.

Sat
TK went for story-telling session at NLB at 11a, followed by lunch at nearby coffee shop at 1230p. The Marigold Milk Promotion at NLB (loan receipt of 8 books for a small packet of fresh milk) is on till end of the month at Bishan. TK asked to drink a packet of cold fresh milk and gladly shared with Marmy. TK was able to hold a mouthful and wait till the milk was not too cold before swallowing. Great job! The final one is at Woodlands for the month of October.

Motherhood exhibition 2011 is back!

This will be the first Motherhood exhibition for me, and hubby and TK..we didn't manage to go last year, as I was recovering from AVM surgery and probably missed it.

This time, I'm definitely gg to mark this dates and drag mum and hubby along.

TK went to Babycare Festival 2011 for the first time at 6m 1w 5d old

 TK is going for the first time on Day 2.

So is Marmy and Dardy and Grandmum.

We had to wake up very early,
and arrive at Expo Hall 6B before it is opened at 11am
to give out the 1000 Goodie bags..

TK shook hands w OCBC mascot while waiting for Marmy to finish her 'shopping'.

There's infant crawling contest and chubby contest in the morning of Day 1.

Besides buying a set of BPA free dining plates and bowl w feeding spoon & fork,

Marmy bought some puffs, milk bottles, teats, teether,

organic puree,

 and its nutrition facts

 biscuits and 2 pairs of shoes for TK..
Grandmum laughed at the idea of getting such big shoes..when TK can't even crawl.

We went home feeling tired but happy.

Grandmum bought 2 boxes of fruit tarts.. for Granddad and Marmy each a box.

36th week of Pregnancy

2aug-8aug

- woke up 4.35plus am feeling v urgent to go to the washroom and got up to prepare beehoon breakfast as I couldn't sleep (took a mouthful of pine seeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seed kernels)
- pa birthday soon after NDP
- anytime little one arriving before edd end of month (or else I'll be in trouble if he's underweight or have complications but definitely not due to the diet I'm taking)
- went to stay at parents' house (so I can be away from pc :P )

- woke up 3am in the morning to go to the washroom
- made phone enquiries about my company's HR benefits and leave benefits
- 3 friends' birthdae this mth (and plus little one and pa)
- invited friends over to watch fireworks next week
- napped for 20min after lunch (have 6-7 meals daily)
- went for groceries shopping with mum and earned cash rebate incl linkpoints ~$5.20 and free gift Chivers lunchbox (purchase of $6.75 for 2 jars of jam -blackcurrant, orange marmalade, strawberry, mixed fruits)
- my left foot is less swollen

- woke up 2plus and 6plus in the morning to go to the washroom (rained 7plus in the morning)
- went to enquire about POSB Everyday card
- can use card to pay Power Supply bill and Starhub bills (by GIRO)
- lunched and bought some sofa cushions and pail (for washing bb napkins)
- checked emailed and read reply to enquiry about sale of used breastpump
- updated comparison table and expenses

- woke up 2plus and 6plus in the morning to go to the washroom
- watched (listened to) san zi jing VCD while using the pc
- mediacorp TV8 personnel called to remind me to collect goodie bag by tomorrow (I won a ndp quiz on 27 Jul but wasn't given the instructions then on the collection)
- had brocoli w chestnut and fresh mushroom & white rice for dinner
- checked online for directions to collect goodie bag
- slept early w darling telling bedtime story

- woke up 1.10am and 6.10am to go to the washroom
- leaving at 3pm to mediacorp and to the gynae by 430pm w mum (collected 2 bags and took some photos)
 - mum made lunch and ironed shirts
- gynae say bb weighed ~1.5kg while my wt gained only 400g since 35th week 10 days ago (not to worry even if bb weighs 1.8kg by week 33)
- made pasta for dinner w darling and had half an avocado for dessert
- ma came over to dine and bought a pot for cooking for us (pail for washing bb napkins)

- woke up at 6.30am to go to the washroom (had multiple successive cramp at right lower leg)
- made chee cheong fun for breakfast and darling bought pancakes
- went to kong meng san to get admission tickets for Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh Public Talk on 11 Sep 2010 Sat 7.30-9.30pm (limited to 4 tic 2 tic per person 4 days after email ad)
