3rd week of motherhood

20sep-26sep

- had poh chai mee & fried egg w mushroom for breakfast
- 22nd time expressed 4.5oz of milk after breakfast
- napped after lunch but can't fall asleep, SMSed fren abt subscribing to phoenix IDD
- 23rd time expressed 4.6oz of milk after lunch
- dharma fren just out of cf and NB bb shower just over (2nd child boy born on 15 Aug, at wk 38)
- had dau ghee w veg meat & black bean soup for dinner
- updated expenses and blog
- 24th time expressed 4.6oz of milk before sleep

- 25th time expressed 3.7oz of milk at 6plus in the morning (having bad dreams these days and woke up after shouted loudly)
- had fried noodles & warm soy drink for breakfast (feet still swollen after delivery)
- sorted photos in the PC and sorted the receipts of expenses
- Nursing Home called to say they've sent Uncle to the hospital, doc called at 9.17am to say Uncle suffered from major stroke
- had warm soy drink for tea1
- had veg pig's stomach 'zhu du3' w xiao bai cai, mushroom, tofu for lunch
- napped and rested on bed & SMSed to Uncle's colleague friends to inform of hospitalisation
- 26th time expressed 4.3oz of milk
- had dow meow & soup for dinner
- darling went to buy fruits for offering (Mid-Autumn Festival tomorrow)
- had korean ginseng soup for supper
- 27th time expressed 5.2oz of milk

- recycling collection this morning (the worker had a cigarette in his mouth & carrying another bag from our Korean neighbour)
- 28th time expressed 4.25oz of milk at 4plus in the morning
- had warm soy drink and pancake w french beans for breakfast
- cf lady helped to change the bedsheets and pillow cases (changed last month before delivery)
- had potatoes w veg dau ghee & veg soup w sweet corn, pearl beans, veg dumplings, carrots for lunch

- pa called to say will be coming to repair the sink these 2 days
- had 2 slices of multigrain bread w strawberry jam & olive spread and warm almond drink for tea1
- 1st time eat the 'su he wan' to rid wind inside me
- hospital staff nurse called to seek permission to restrain Uncle as he's pulling out the IV tubes
- 29th time expressed 6oz of milk before dinner (heavy downpour)
- had vegetables, potatoes & veg dau ghee w black ear fungus & veg soup for dinner
- had 'ba zhen tang' for supper (darling sent TK's full month e-invitation to dharma frens)
- 30th time expressed 4.2oz of milk

- 31st time expressed 2.5oz of milk (the pump became faulty after turning on)
- had warm almond drink & fried noodles w mushroom, carrots, veg golden duck meat for breakfast
- called mum and learnt that Aunt L had visited Uncle last evening
- had french beans w carrots, golden duck meat & herbal soup for lunch
- napped after watching abit of TV serial drama Precious Babes
- soaked feet in warm water (still swollen even after delivery)
- had warm almond drink and a piece of walnut cake for tea1
- sent e-invitation to frens and colleagues (raining again)
- 32nd time expressed 2oz of milk (1 drop every 1-2 suction @ 1sec-suction & 160 drops = 0.25oz ie 640 drops = 1oz)
- had for dinner
- had chong cao herbal soup for supper
- 33rd time expressed 3.3oz of milk
- 34th time expressed 2.7oz of milk
- 35th time expressed 1.1oz of milk
- 36th time expressed 1oz of milk (hardly slept)

- 37th time expressed 4.1oz of milk (working again after ~24hr)
- had chee cheong fun & warm almond drink for breakfast
- had chestnut w mushroom, carrots & bak ku teh veg pig's stomach (zhu du3) soup for lunch
- had walnut cake & warm almond drink for tea1
- 38th time expressed 3oz of milk
- Uncle & Aunt came to visit little one
- napped for more than an hour
- had chestnut w mushroom, carrots & fried french beans w egg & bak ku teh veg pig's stomach (zhu du3) soup for dinner
- darling gg for dharma class after dinner
- 39th time expressed 1.35oz of milk
- had korean ginseng soup for supper

- 40th time expressed 4oz of milk
- darling gg for groceries shopping at the wet market
- had fried beehoon and warm almond drink for breakfast
