TK at 3y 2m 13d went to bed without dinner

Child was so tired after a day in Childcare without afternoon nap 没睡午觉 (confirmed with Teacher the following morning). Dozed off shortly after boarding bus at 7pm in the evening 累得一上车便呼呼大睡了. Once home, Mother placed Child on floor mattress as Child is still wearing school uniform. Child slept, tossed and turned, grabbed Mother's blanket to hug, until almost whole body went under the junior bed 几乎整个身体都滚进了床底. Father and Mother 'rescued' Child by pushing the bed further away. Mother tried to wake Child up at 835pm for late dinner or supper, but Child erg..erg..and wanted to sleep some more 还想再多睡一会儿..

Father said probably Child may sleep through the night to wake up the following morning and hopefully not to wake up in the middle of the night 希望一觉到天亮.

Mother carried Child, walked around into the living room to the slightly ajar main door, but the sound coming from the TV is not helping as Child found difficulty in sleeping, so continued to erg..erg..a little bit longer.

Mother finally put Child to sleep at 920pm, with the electric stand fan oscillating from outside the bedroom. Mother and Father finished the remaining steamed Bee Hoon with potato and curry longbeans and Vegetarian Mock Pig's intestines leftover from dinner.

Child eventually woke up at 2am. Mother fed Child with organic soy drink and some mini cakes. Child fell asleep shortly again after 310am.
In the morning, Child woke up and was out of the bed shortly after some tossing and stretching, and urinated while Father is showering at 815am.
Child had some Milo drink.

Child: Mummy, we can leave home with Father today.
Mother: Then you must quickly change into your school uniform and wear your socks and shoes.
Child: Father, we can leave home with you today. 爸爸,今天我们可以一起出门。

Mother helped to wear the top, and praised and encouraged Child for his fastness instead of saying Child was slow 宝贝动作最快的. Father was pleased with both Mother and Child.

After Mother and Child parted with Father at the lift lobby at Level 1, they headed for the opposite direction of Father.
Child: Why did Father go that way? Will we see Father later? 我们会看到爸爸吗?
Mother: No, because Father goes the other way and we're heading to the direction of the wet market.
Child: Why 为什么?
Mother: Maybe if we walk to the main road and look back, we may see Father..

Mother and Child hurried and before reaching the main road from the carpark entrance, Mother saw Father hailing for a taxi on the opposite road.

Mother: Look Child, Father is over there 宝贝,爸爸在对面!
Mother called out to Father, who saw them and Child waved at Father. Father waved back before disappearing into the taxi.
Mother and Child continued on their way happily.
Child: (pointing to the flowers outside the CC along the road) Look, the flowers 美丽的花(Child told Mother a few days ago that Child loves flowers the most 前几天曾说过最喜欢花了). So beautiful, but Father didn't see them.
Mother: Of course Father saw. He saw them whenever he goes to the market.

Mother: (Just before reaching the Childcare) Later will there be a crying child asking to be carried 待会儿会不会有小朋友哭着要妈妈抱呢?
Child: 只抱一下 Only will hug once. And I want to be carried at the door, so I can 'kok kok' (knock the door).
Mother: But Mummy will press doorbell 可是妈妈会按门铃, so you no need to 'kok kok' as it's so soft, and the knuckles will feel pain.
Child: Then I'll 'KOK KOK' louder.
Mother: And you feel more pain.

Mother: So there won't be anymore crying to be carried at the door or the entrance near the shoe rack, or refusing to stand on own feet and wanting to be carried in future..as the floor is dirty, the students there walk around wearing their shoes near the door.

Mother bent forward and carried Child at the door to knock door. Just then, Teacher saw them through the glass panel.
Teacher: (opened door for Mother and Child) Why want mummy carry again 为什么还要妈妈抱?
Mother: (smiling helplessly 露出无奈的笑容) Because Child wants to 'KOK KOK'.
